In this study, the use of edible fruit plants in landscape architectural practices has been investigated. As a result of the literature review, it has been understood that an edible plant could be used for both design purposes and for the food it provides. It has also been clear that the edible landscapes developed by using these plants benefit wildlife. In the study, the aesthetic and functional suitability of using edible fruit plants, commonly found in Turkey, with landscape architectural practices have been identified, and the Terzioğlu campus at the Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University has been investigated as a case study. As a result of the evaluation of expert opinion, it has been determined that many edible fruit plants are suitable for use in landscape architectural practices. Finally, the location and density of existing edible fruit plants at the Terzioğlu campus site has been identified, and suggestions have been provided for the future establishment of edible landscapes on campus.
