PARAMETRIC DESIGN IN THE RELATIONSHIP OF ENERGY EFFICIENT BUILDING AND EARLY DESIGN PHASE

Energy resources are being depleted day by day, and the concept of "energy efficient building" comes to the fore in order to plan the future in a healthy way and to protect the existing energy. Ensuring energy efficiency in architectural design is a process that starts in the early stages of design and continues throughout the building life cycle. For this reason, design decisions to be made in the early design phase are important. At the same time, the act of architectural design has entered a renewal process with the growth and complexity of problem areas. Despite traditional design methods and techniques based on intuitive and practical experience, the designer has to carry out her work using much more information from inside and outside the field of architecture. Despite traditional design methods and techniques based on intuitive and practical experience, the designer has to carry out her work using much more information from inside and outside the field of architecture. Algorithms, parametric connections and mathematical relations are now included in the design process. Parametric design in architecture refers to the modeling process of creating geometry using parameters and functions. A design strategy is established in which how data relates to other data is defined numerically and geometrically, and limitations are specified. Once such a relational model is established, derived by changing the parameter values. In this study, the productive establishment of the energy efficient building and early design phase relationship with the parametric design method has been examined.
