Historical masonry structures, which reflect the perspective of culture and art in the past, are of great importance in terms of engineering and architecture. In addition to other periods, these perspectives developed further in the Ottoman Period. The Ottoman Empire experienced its brightest period not only politically but also in terms of architecture in the sixteenth century. The most important master of Ottoman classical architecture of this period was Sinan of Kayseri Ağırnas. Edirnekapı Mihrimah Sultan mosque, which is one of the important Selatin mosques of Architect Sinan, was chosen as a sample structure for structural damage assessment. Apart from the structural damage assessment, the structural system features of the mosque are explained. The structure has suffered many earthquakes throughout history and damage has occurred due to these earthquakes. In this study, the damages on the monument were determined and recommendations were made. Damages and cracks in structural elements such as dome, arch and pendant have been identified. Repair and strengthening recommendations have been made to improve these identified damages. The suggestions and comments were carried out based on the literature research. Thus, previous restoration work and structural analysis conducted according to computer-aided calculation methods shed light on the conclusion of the study.
